Stop The Negative Voice In Your Head

Stop the negative voice in your head

You Do Have the Power to Control It

Stop the negative voice in your head with quick actions. Although it is normal to have negative voices in your head every so often, it is not normal for them to dwell within you. Sometimes a negative voice could be prompting you to take a step back to check yourself.

Therefore, the voice, in this case, can be helpful, as long as you don’t allow it to take over your thoughts.

So, step back, and assess the negative voice, if it causes you to readjust, then listen. If it is causing you damaging criticism, chuck it.

This is the easiest way that I have found to rid myself of these negative voices when they pop up in my head.

You can do this too. Just remember the following things:

  • Negative self-talk can be helpful at times, but it should never lead you to violence against yourself or anyone else.
  • Sometimes voices can come from the enemy of your soul, and he is a real spiritual person.
  • To stop the negative voice in your head you will have to replace it with positive spiritual talk.
  • Sometimes you will need someone else to lean on if you are not strong enough.
  • My advice to you and my source of power comes from God, Jesus to be precise.

When Negative Voices Sound Scary

The scariest moments are when the voice causes you to think about doing something violent. This is a sure way of knowing that it is from the enemy. All around our nation we see this played out over and over. Someone commits a heinous crime and then says that a voice convinced them to act.

In my own life, I can remember hearing a voice urging me to hurt myself. Yet, I had enough self-love and confidence to know that the voice was a negative voice that did not have my good in mind.

What does this mean for you? Well, you can stop that negative voice by choosing to learn how the truths of God about yourself and how to apply them to your thoughts.

Stopping the Inner Negative Voice With Spiritual Confidence

You can stop the ugly inner negative thoughts by telling yourself that you are somebody. That you were created for a purpose and that you are not perfect. It doesn’t matter how many bad things you have done in your life either.

The creator of your being thought enough of you to make you beautiful. Oh and, you do have what it takes to be whole in your mind and body because it depends upon His grace towards you not what you do. If a man who was a criminal can be forgiven when he was at the point of death, then believe that our minds can also be whole if we trust in God.

The one that we should be most concerned about has the power to destroy both our body and spirit, so train your mind to lock upon His words. Think about it, you really only have two choices. Fear the enemy of your soul or reverence the creator of your soul.

Renew Your Mind Every Day

This is something that we have to practice doing on a daily basis. Our enemy is relentless and will never leave us alone. So we must keep our guards up every day and have our minds stayed on the Word of God which is our spiritual fuel.

The other day I went to the doctor, and she asked me if I felt depressed, suicidal, or worthless. I could honestly look her in the eyes and say with a heartfelt No, indeed!

Then I added, “As long as I have God to lean on, I am good!”
