Stop The Negative Voice In Your Head

Stop the negative voice in your head

You Do Have the Power to Control It

Stop the negative voice in your head with quick actions. Although it is normal to have negative voices in your head every so often, it is not normal for them to dwell within you. Sometimes a negative voice could be prompting you to take a step back to check yourself.

Therefore, the voice, in this case, can be helpful, as long as you don’t allow it to take over your thoughts.

So, step back, and assess the negative voice, if it causes you to readjust, then listen. If it is causing you damaging criticism, chuck it.

This is the easiest way that I have found to rid myself of these negative voices when they pop up in my head.

You can do this too. Just remember the following things:

  • Negative self-talk can be helpful at times, but it should never lead you to violence against yourself or anyone else.
  • Sometimes voices can come from the enemy of your soul, and he is a real spiritual person.
  • To stop the negative voice in your head you will have to replace it with positive spiritual talk.
  • Sometimes you will need someone else to lean on if you are not strong enough.
  • My advice to you and my source of power comes from God, Jesus to be precise.

When Negative Voices Sound Scary

The scariest moments are when the voice causes you to think about doing something violent. This is a sure way of knowing that it is from the enemy. All around our nation we see this played out over and over. Someone commits a heinous crime and then says that a voice convinced them to act.

In my own life, I can remember hearing a voice urging me to hurt myself. Yet, I had enough self-love and confidence to know that the voice was a negative voice that did not have my good in mind.

What does this mean for you? Well, you can stop that negative voice by choosing to learn how the truths of God about yourself and how to apply them to your thoughts.

Stopping the Inner Negative Voice With Spiritual Confidence

You can stop the ugly inner negative thoughts by telling yourself that you are somebody. That you were created for a purpose and that you are not perfect. It doesn’t matter how many bad things you have done in your life either.

The creator of your being thought enough of you to make you beautiful. Oh and, you do have what it takes to be whole in your mind and body because it depends upon His grace towards you not what you do. If a man who was a criminal can be forgiven when he was at the point of death, then believe that our minds can also be whole if we trust in God.

The one that we should be most concerned about has the power to destroy both our body and spirit, so train your mind to lock upon His words. Think about it, you really only have two choices. Fear the enemy of your soul or reverence the creator of your soul.

Renew Your Mind Every Day

This is something that we have to practice doing on a daily basis. Our enemy is relentless and will never leave us alone. So we must keep our guards up every day and have our minds stayed on the Word of God which is our spiritual fuel.

The other day I went to the doctor, and she asked me if I felt depressed, suicidal, or worthless. I could honestly look her in the eyes and say with a heartfelt No, indeed!

Then I added, “As long as I have God to lean on, I am good!”

Remember you “Got the power”

Wisdom Wednesday is About Treating Yourself With Kindness

Do you know what it means to treat yourself with kindness? Well, just in case you do not let this wisdom Wednesday be your introduction.

  • Strive to keep your mind learning and active
  • Exercise and eat healthy foods, yet allow a little indulgence
  • Read the Bible, business books, and good motivational books
  • Learn to become one with nature from God’s point of view

Here are some ways to put these things to work in your life.

Keeping Your Mind Learning and Active

The way you can keep your mind fresh is by learning new things and actively pursuing knowledge. Think about it as we age we have a tendency to become stagnant and set in our ways. If you step back and take a look at your environment you will probably be able to see where you are not growing anymore.

Wisdom Wednesday encourages that if you do this with honesty and enthusiasm, then you can effectively implement new things into your life. Like learning a new computer program, or learning to use a new publishing software. It is so satisfying when you can figure something like that out for yourself.

Exercise and Healthy Eating

Although I am not an exercise guru, I am a human being, and I know when you do some kind of movement every day you will feel so much better. Oh don’t get me wrong I’m not advocating signing up for some expensive gym membership or buying expensive workout equipment

No, I am just talking about doing an online workout or dumbbell routine. My kids even do martial arts video’s on youtube. Whatever you chose, it will help you to feel so good and you will be treating yourself with kindness. Oh, and do not forget to have that Mocha Latte or Chic-fila tenders every once in a while, I won’t be mad at you.

The Bible, Business and Motivational Books

In this Wisdom Wednesday post let me encourage you to treat yourself kindly by reading good books, especially the number one Good book. Out of all the books that I have read the Bible has given me the most relevant wisdom about how to look at myself.

When a person understands who he or she is in the sphere of this universe, that person’s life will become centered and balanced.

The Bible will give you that balancing power and it will teach you how to keep the other two book recommendations in perspective. In other words, learning all that you can about business and listening to motivational talks will naturally be sifted through what you learn from the Word of God.

Get Outside and Become One with Nature

The reason why I suggest that you should get outside into nature is because of the many health benefits you will receive. In my experience, working in my garden has always made me feel relaxed and whole.

Being around trees, dirt and animals has a calming effect on me. And it doesn’t stop there, working outside can give you a vigorous workout and pull fresh air into your lungs. These are just a few of the benefits that you can get from becoming one with nature.

In conclusion, after instituting all of the above practices into your life, start writing your newfound ideas and wisdom down. You can even start journaling. Then you will know that you are treating yourself with kindness.
